During metamorphosis, a grown caterpillar will find itself a safe place, develop a protective chrysalis, and partially dissolve into a liquid goop. Previously dormant imaginal cells, nourished by that goop, will then activate, multiply, organize, and assemble into the elegant winged creature we call a butterfly. Amid our many dissolving cultural narratives, by analogy, this assembly serves as one organizing hub of imaginal cells. If you enjoy a good tale, or might even wanna contribute some threads of your own, this emerging group story project will entertain and amuse.
Welcome to Jora’s Yarn. Please call me Shai, which rhymes with Thai. As orientation for this multifaceted production, my Yarn and Whispers pages offer some broad overview, my Backstories and Springwater pages offer some background context, my Poems and Encounters and Stargate pages offer some raison d’être. I welcome messages by email below. I am not elsewhere currently offering public interviews, presentations, or social media. I encourage return visits or the use of a change notification service to follow this developing venture. And thanks for visiting.
